Overview

SenseXperience is a multi-sensor data acquisition system designed for robotics learning workflows. The entire pipeline — recording, live preview, file management, and remote upload — is controlled through a web interface accessible from desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers, with full Chinese/English bilingual support.

Synchronous Recording

• Record up to 4 cameras, 2 grippers, 1 IMU, and 1 microphone simultaneously; all streams are time-aligned automatically and saved to separate directories per session.
• A configurable countdown (3 seconds by default) before recording starts ensures every sensor begins at exactly the same moment.
• Recording duration and per-sensor frame rate and data status are displayed live throughout each session.
• Session metadata is generated automatically at the end of each recording for easy traceability.
• Sensors are identified by serial number, so they are correctly recognised even after being reconnected to a different USB port — no reconfiguration needed.
• File management and system settings are automatically locked during recording to prevent accidental changes.

Live Preview

• Camera feeds stream to the browser with very low latency — what you see is what you record.
• Real-time microphone audio monitoring.
• Per-sensor frame rate charts update continuously and can be paused at any moment to review historical data.
• Preview and recording can run at the same time without interfering with each other.
• Single-camera full-screen view is supported.
• Only the sensors you select are activated, keeping resource use low.

File Management & Download

• The recording list shows each session's duration, file size, and data integrity at a glance, sorted by time; sessions with incomplete data are clearly marked.
• Filter by date and time range to quickly find the recordings you need.
• One-click download: the system automatically compresses, converts, and packages the data into a ready-to-use file; the compression step can be skipped for faster access to raw data.
• Batch download and batch delete are supported; the browser triggers the download automatically with no manual steps.
• Download progress persists across page refreshes so in-progress downloads are never lost.

Data Upload

• Upload recordings to a remote platform with one click; pause, resume, or cancel at any time. Cancel all queued uploads at once when needed.
• The system checks server connectivity before starting an upload to prevent silent failures caused by network issues.
• Upload progress is saved automatically and resumes seamlessly after a page refresh or re-login.
• Any in-progress uploads are cleaned up automatically on logout, leaving no stale tasks.
• Switch between domestic and overseas service platforms as needed.
• Export and upload for the same recording are mutually exclusive — the system prevents conflicts automatically.

WiFi Management

• Scan nearby networks and view their name, signal strength, and security type; connect or disconnect with one click.
• Reconnect to a saved network with one click whenever the connection is inactive — no need to re-enter credentials.
• The current connection is checked against your configured managed network in real time so you always know your network status; a transitional state is shown when connected but an address has not yet been assigned.
• The device automatically creates a dedicated hotspot on first boot for easy initial access.

Firmware Upgrade

• Browse available firmware versions and read release notes online — notes are shown in the active interface language — then download and install with one click.
• Local package installation is also supported for offline environments.
• Leftover temporary files from previous upgrades are cleaned up automatically on next boot.

Sensor Configuration

• A visual form lets you add, edit, and delete sensors without touching any config files.
• Parameters relevant to each sensor type are shown automatically, keeping options clear and reducing the chance of incorrect entries.
• Required fields are validated before saving, and duplicate device serial numbers are detected automatically to prevent configuration conflicts.

Interface & Experience

• Switch between Chinese and English at any time; error messages are always shown in the active language for clear, immediate feedback.
• Fully functional on phone and tablet browsers, including full-screen preview and screen-rotation handling.
• A low disk space warning appears automatically; an audible alert sounds on abnormal conditions.
• All download and upload progress is saved to disk and restored automatically after a page refresh — no need to restart any task.

Supported Sensors

Notes

• Before first use, confirm that all sensors are correctly recognised on the sensor configuration page and match the hardware connected.
• Upload requires a network connection and a valid platform account.
• Video compression relies on the device's built-in hardware accelerator and is only available on the OK3588 platform.
• Audio preview requires the page to be accessed over HTTPS or from a local address.
• Do not disconnect any sensor cables during a recording session.
